Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation of materials, consumables, spare parts, and heavy equipment
• Schedule and monitor deliveries to ensure timely arrival and correct quantities
• Inspect copper scrap received on site for accuracy
• Manage freight providers and carriers for mine site deliveries
• Maintain accurate inventory records using site ERP and inventory systems
• Support warehousing, laydown areas, and on-site material handling
• Liaise with production, maintenance, and projects teams to coordinate logistical needs
• Ensure all logistics activities comply with MSHA/OSHA regulations and mine safety standards
• Prepare logistics reports, delivery schedules, and cost tracking documentation

Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
• 3–5 years of logistics or supply chain experience, preferably in mining, construction, or heavy industry
• Experience working in a remote, industrial, or 24/7 operational environment
• Strong understanding of freight coordination and inventory management

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in an open-pit or underground mining operation
• Knowledge of heavy equipment transport and bulk materials handling
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Pronto, or Oracle
• Familiarity with FIFO/DIDO workforce logistics
