Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Manage the movement of raw materials and products via truck, rail, and pipeline
• Oversee operations to ensure efficient supply of feedstock, process chemicals, and finished products
• Support 3rd party plant logistics, inventory management, and supplier performance evaluation
• Collaborate with Supply Planners to ensure production plans are met and lead corrective actions
• Monitor inventory levels and order necessary process chemicals for site production
• Generate Daily Production Reports and Monthly Inventory Reports
• Serve as the onsite administrator for security management and rail inventory systems
• Provide on-call logistics coverage for holidays, nights, and weekends as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field with relevant experience
• 5+ years of experience in a Logistics or Supply Chain Management role
• Proficiency in the Office 365 Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to interface with a diverse, global workforce

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using JD Edwards
• Experience with Ccure 9000 Security Management Systems
• Experience with Dearman Inventory Management Systems
• Proven track record of high performance in a team environment
