Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the flow of inbound and outbound freight while managing daily priorities and weekly transportation targets
• Ensure carrier compliance with company policies and procedures
• Analyze lane data, on-time performance, and costs to negotiate rates with customers and third-party carriers
• Communicate with brokers, carriers, and customers to resolve discrepancies
• Direct logistics activities including obtaining shipment rates, selecting 3PL partners, and tracking shipments
• Verify and troubleshoot shipping or customs documentation such as PODs, BOL, and carrier confirmations
• Proactively communicate service risks to customers to provide proper resolutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business
• 1+ year of experience in the Supply Chain or Transportation industry
• Experience managing FTL (Full Truckload) shipments
• Strong familiarity with North American geography
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new software quickly
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills within a team environment
