Logistics Clerk I

Responsibilities

• Investigate shipping discrepancies including shortages, overages, mis-shipments, and damaged products
• Research retail claims by reviewing shipment history, order details, and warehouse activity
• Run daily, weekly, and ad hoc operational reports related to shipping performance and inventory
• Communicate findings and root causes of errors to supervisors, customer service, and transportation teams
• Maintain accurate records of investigations, claim statuses, and corrective actions
• Assist with gathering proof of delivery, tracking details, and packing records to resolve claims
• Identify recurring discrepancy trends and escalate repeat issues to leadership

Requirements

• 1+ year of warehouse, shipping, logistics, or related clerical experience
• 1+ year of experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP systems
• 1+ year of experience using Excel, Google Sheets, or similar data reporting tools
• Ability to research complex issues using multiple digital systems and information sources
• Ability to read and interpret shipment documents, order information, and transaction history
