Logistics Billing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Process customer billing accurately and on time according to company policy
• Manage AR/AP processes using internal software
• Monitor account statuses, outstanding balances, and identify inconsistencies
• Issue and distribute invoices, bills, and receipts with high accuracy
• Follow up on airline and trucking company charges and disputes with proper documentation
• Verify and validate debit accounts before submission
• Update accounts receivable databases with new accounts or missed payments
• Communicate with clients regarding outstanding debts and deadlines
• Prepare thorough reports on billing activity using reliable data
• Coordinate with international AR/AP personnel in Brazil, China, Vietnam, and other offices

Requirements

• Intermediate or Advanced Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proactive self-starter with good problem-solving abilities
• Ability to build professional relationships with customers and carriers
• BA/BSc, HS Diploma, or GED
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• 2+ years of experience in logistics or freight industry
