About the Company

Neros is a defense technology company rebuilding America’s drone industrial base. We design and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are tested in combat, iterated at startup speed, and built at massive scale.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end shipping and logistics for domestic and international shipments, including air, ocean, and ground freight
• Oversee packaging, labeling, and documentation of dangerous goods (DG) shipments (IATA, IMDG, 49 CFR)
• Ensure all logistics operations adhere to export control (ITAR/EAR), customs, and hazardous material regulations
• Maintain relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers
• Develop and monitor performance KPIs across shipping cost, lead time, and delivery reliability
• Maintain DG certifications and ensure proper staff training and recordkeeping
• Use NetSuite and other internal systems to monitor order demand, production readiness, and shipment status

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or related operations
• Working knowledge of IATA, IMDG, 49 CFR, ITAR, EAR, and customs regulations
• Proven ability to build and implement SOPs and training documentation
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and data processing skills including Excel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a defense, aerospace, or dual-use hardware company
• Experience preparing export documentation (commercial invoices, shippers’ declarations, AES filings, etc.)
• DG certification (IATA/ICAO Category 6 or equivalent)
• Familiarity with ERP or shipping management systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP)
• Experience working with DPAS-rated or military export shipments
