Logistics Associate II - Salvage

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack, prepare, and ship customer orders in a timely manner
• Perform data entry to release, move, or adjust inventory within computer software
• Conduct physical searches for missing products and research cycle count discrepancies
• Manage the disposition of damaged, scrap, and hazardous products for waste providers
• Maintain 5S cleanliness of the picking area and identify quantity discrepancies
• Adhere to strict regulatory safety, quality, and warehouse procedures
• Track departmental data and generate reports using MS Excel

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 2 years of experience in plant or warehouse shipping/receiving
• 1 year of experience operating a Raymond stand-up forklift
• 1 year of working knowledge of inventory systems (SAP, WMS, or ERP)
• Knowledge of USDOT hazardous materials regulations
• Experience with Hazard Inventory Control and accurate hazardous waste record keeping
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• RCRA or Hazwoper certification
• Experience with emergency spills and emergency response teams
• Strong chemical and safety knowledge
• Excellent communication and time management skills
