About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and develop recovery plans for outbound loads
- Execute outbound strategy across distribution centers, third-party storage, and vendors
- Monitor and improve service level metrics like on-time arrival and departure
- Analyze real-time data to provide contingency action plans
- Run daily Exception Management processes to protect customer experience
- Build relationships with third-party carriers to secure loads against forecasted volume
- Lead operational process improvement projects with the outbound transportation team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, Supply Chain, or related field
- 2 years of experience delivering analytical solutions to complex problems
- Ability to travel up to 10% within the United States
- Flexibility to work a non M-F schedule (specifically Sunday-Wednesday, 7am-5pm CST)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with transportation management software such as E2Open or BluJay
