Logistics and Inventory Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound shipments, including labeling, documentation, and coordination with carriers
• Receive materials and parts, inspect deliveries, and accurately update inventory records
• Maintain an organized and accessible inventory system and kit components for builds
• Cross-reference bills of materials (BOMs) against current inventory to identify assemblies as “Clear to Build”
• Issue purchase orders (POs) based on inventory needs and project requirements
• Track and manage the status of open orders and follow up with vendors
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to forecast material needs
• Resolve discrepancies in orders, inventory, and shipments
• Support improvements to inventory management systems and logistics processes

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, warehouse management, or inventory control
• Familiarity with inventory tracking software, spreadsheets, and BOM management
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate pallet jacks or related equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with minimal supervision
