About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily freight billing operations, including verification of invoices from logistics service providers.
  • Resolve billing exceptions and disputes with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team to ensure accurate and timely freight payment settlements.
  • Generate reports to analyze shipment volumes, unit costs, and supplier performance to support cost control.
  • Support import and export customs compliance, including the preparation of documentation and regulatory reports.
  • Liaise with Trade Compliance teams, customs authorities, and government agencies to ensure compliance with FIZ, LMW, and international requirements.
  • Assist with inventory management activities, including material receiving, storage, and issuance.
  • Support internal and external audits as required.

Requirements

  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Logistics or Supply Chain role.
  • Experience in a multinational manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with Oracle systems.
  • Knowledge of import/export customs procedures and familiarity with FIZ and LMW requirements.
  • Experience in operational finance, freight auditing, and cost control.
