Logistics Analyst

Responsibilities

• Organize transportation activities and manage information from point of origin to delivery.
• Coordinate and certify shipments in accordance with 49 CFR, IATA, NISPOM, 32 CFR, AFMAN, and Defense Transportation Regulations.
• Prepare domestic and international shipping labels, hazardous declarations, Bills of Lading, and airway bills.
• Maintain traffic accountability records and oversee the delivery of classified shipments.
• Execute logistics plans to ensure products reach destinations safely, securely, and on schedule.
• Communicate directly with internal and external customers to meet program costs and scheduling requirements.

Requirements

• University Degree or equivalent experience.
• Less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience shipping and packing hazardous materials for domestic and international movement.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Active and transferable US government security clearance (Secret) is required prior to start date.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for data analysis.
• Experience with shipping government assets via TEAMS or ETOOLS.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
