Logistics Analyst

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and monitor national and international transport
• Monitor shipments with carriers, freight forwarders, shipowners, and customs brokers
• Control and track demurrage, detention, storage, free time, and associated costs to mitigate expenses
• Perform active follow-up to avoid expirations and negotiate deadline extensions
• Ensure accuracy of all documentation including invoices, packing lists, BL, AWB, and tax documents
• Support foreign trade routines including exports, imports, and customs clearance
• Handle logistical occurrences such as delays, damages, losses, or customs holds
• Update transport status and inform internal clients regarding deadlines and deliveries
• Maintain interface with fiscal, logistics, supply, quality, and engineering departments
• Control area KPIs including SLA, lead time, and logistics costs
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with foreign trade policies
• Propose continuous improvements for operational efficiency and cost reduction

Requirements

• Higher education in Administration, Foreign Trade, or related fields
• Experience with national and international transport
• Knowledge of foreign trade routines and documentation
• Familiarity with demurrage, detention, storage, and shipowner negotiations
• Knowledge of tax invoices and transport documentation
• Understanding of Incoterms, customs regimes, and international logistics chains
• Skills in routing, collection programming, and carrier follow-up
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft 365 tools
