Logistics Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with customers to understand their logistics requirements
• Coordinate with internal sales, operations, and implementation teams to deliver effective logistics solutions
• Manage customer expectations and proactively address issues to ensure high satisfaction levels
• Participate in the preparation and review of proposals, pricing, and rate analyses to support customer bids
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and project progress
• Support the sales team in identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in customer success, account management, or sales within the logistics or transportation industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
