About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide logistical services for the PMA-265 Finland IPT in support of the F/A-18 air vehicle, including subsystems, armament, engine, and airborne weapons
- Develop LOA data and provide quantitative resource analysis for integration and sustainment requirements
- Assess case requirements to ensure effective F/A-18 operations and support programs
- Review and provide technical recommendations on aircraft configuration changes, ECPs, and TDs
- Provide Life Cycle Management (LCM) support services
- Coordinate and attend program management reviews, technical coordination meetings, and briefings both CONUS and OCONUS
- Support technology transfer activities by developing documentation and routing packages for foreign disclosure release reviews
- Identify and analyze issues, record action items, and recommend courses of action to resolve them
Requirements
- US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Associate's degree + 2 years experience, or High School Diploma + 4 years experience)
- 6+ years of experience in operational logistics support or maintenance engineering
- 3+ years of recent experience in acquisition logistics or maintenance engineering
- 3+ years of experience in technical analysis of operational ILS requirements
- 3+ years of specific experience in operational logistics planning
- Knowledge of FMS and Defense Security Assistance Programs
- Familiarity with SECNAV, OPNAV, and OSD forms related to procurement, requisitions, and contract data requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with NAVAIR security, technical transfer, and foreign disclosure policies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
