LOG Yearbook Staff Designer

Responsibilities

• Design 11-12 spreads per semester using Adobe InDesign
• Collaborate with the Design Editor to establish and follow the style guide and master book file
• Check for design consistency during pre-submission deadline sessions
• Execute redesigns in a timely manner following requests from the Design Editor or Editor-in-Chief
• Work with the design team to execute the full 172-page yearbook from brainstorming to publication
• Attend weekly staff meetings (1-2 times per week)

Requirements

• Creative, self-motivated, and organized individual
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, with proficiency in InDesign
• Interest and/or experience in graphic design or student journalism

Preferred Qualifications

• Past experience working with a yearbook or student newspaper
