About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee three Staff Photographers, including delegating tasks and assigning deadlines
- Collaborate with the Editor-in-Chief, Copy Editor, and Design Editor to execute yearbook spreads
- Manage all photography content for the 172-page yearbook, including senior and club photos
- Digitally manage and organize photo files within a computer file system
- Write accurate captions and ensure correct spelling of names and year levels for all subjects
- Actively solicit photo submissions from campus individuals and groups
- Attend all editorial and staff meetings twice per week
Requirements
- Previous photography experience
- Access to a digital DSLR camera
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Photoshop and Lightroom
- Creative, self-motivated, and highly organized
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with yearbook or newspaper production
- Prior experience serving on the LOG yearbook staff
- Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing for the 2025–2026 school year
