LOG AMR Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead daily AMR/AGV scheduling, task monitoring, path management, and traffic control to ensure timely material delivery and equipment utilization.
• Develop and update AMR/AGV operating SOPs, inspection plans, and maintenance checklists, while managing spare parts inventory.
• Perform deep-dive root cause analysis (PSS/PDCA) for complex issues such as path conflicts or navigation loss.
• Design optimization solutions for paths, task scheduling, and charging strategies based on operational data.
• Optimize interfaces between AMR/AGV systems and MES/WMS/IES to improve collaborative efficiency.
• Manage new project implementation, including site deployment, map construction, script debugging, and acceptance testing.
• Oversee vendor service quality, including firmware updates, patches, and maintenance contract execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• 5+ years of experience in AGV/AMR operation and maintenance.
• Proven experience in AGV/AMR project implementation and management.
• Proficiency in AGV/AMR scheduling software configuration, map editing, script writing, and log analysis.
• Strong understanding of navigation principles including Laser SLAM, QR codes, and magnetic navigation.
• Ability to debug navigation parameters and correct positioning errors independently.
• Familiarity with fieldbus protocols such as Modbus TCP, CANopen, or EtherNet/IP and PLC interaction logic.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical assembly drawings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in circuit board-level repair, including soldering and using oscilloscopes/spectrum analyzers.
• Familiarity with Bosch Production System (BPS) or Lean tools (Value Stream Mapping, PDCA, 5Why).
• Demonstrated success in optimizing AGV/AMR scheduling algorithms to improve efficiency.
• Professional certifications such as Electrician License or Advanced Robot Maintenance Technician.
