Responsibilities
- Support therapists in delivering treatments and interventions to patients
- Assist in patient mobility and support exercise programs
- Provide therapy interventions as directed by the supervising therapist
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during therapy sessions
- Assist with administrative tasks and maintain accurate patient records
- Contribute to the smooth running of the therapy department
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Therapy Assistant, ideally within an NHS setting
- Experience working with patients in rehabilitation or therapy environments
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
- Proactive and compassionate approach to patient care
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
