Locum Therapy Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of therapy interventions under the supervision of qualified therapists
• Support patients with activities of daily living to promote independence and well-being
• Monitor patient progress and report changes or concerns to the therapy team
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for therapy sessions
• Prepare and organize therapy equipment
• Contribute to the documentation of patient care activities and assist with administrative tasks

Requirements

• Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in therapy or rehabilitation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
