About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide psychological input across three local residential services
  • Deliver specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions
  • Work collaboratively with the MDT to support care planning and risk management
  • Contribute to service users’ wellbeing through evidence-based approaches
  • Support staff teams with psychologically informed strategies and consultation
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service development

Requirements

  • HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist
  • Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and complex needs
  • Strong understanding of mental health and behavioural support
  • Ability to work across multiple sites and collaborate with MDTs
  • Excellent communication and formulation skills
