About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for patients following an acute stroke
- Develop and implement intervention plans
- Manage discharge planning for patients
- Work across acute stroke wards, outlier wards, and the Emergency Department (ED)
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and Speech Language Therapists within a multidisciplinary team
Requirements
- Registered Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Experience in acute stroke physiotherapy
- Ability to work independently across various hospital wards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
