Locum Physiotherapist

Responsibilities

• Undertake comprehensive assessments of patients with diverse or complex neurological conditions
• Formulate, plan, and deliver specialized, patient-centered physiotherapy treatment programs
• Use clinical assessment, outcome measures, and therapeutic manual physiotherapy techniques
• Lead vestibular exercise classes and provide patient education
• Liaise with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
• Monitor and adjust treatment for rapidly deteriorating or unstable patients
• Contribute to discharge planning and coordinate with community or outpatient services
• Support patients with neurological impairments and balance problems during walking and transfers

Requirements

• Degree in Physiotherapy
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Proven experience in neurological physiotherapy, preferably in rehabilitation
• Strong clinical skills in assessment and treatment planning for neurological conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
