Locum Orthopaedic Physiotherapist

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality physiotherapy services to patients in Elective Orthopaedic wards
• Assess, plan, and deliver tailored physiotherapy interventions including post-surgical rehabilitation and mobility support
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and ensure timely discharge
• Manage a varied caseload and document patient progress
• Deliver continuity of care through regular shifts, including evenings up to 8pm

Requirements

• HCPC Registration as a Physiotherapist
• Proven experience in Orthopaedic Physiotherapy, particularly in Elective Orthopaedic settings
• Strong clinical reasoning skills and ability to work autonomously
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility to work shifts including evenings

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within the NHS
