About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct highly specialized physiotherapy assessments for patients with acute and chronic conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings
- Implement and monitor treatment programs, adjusting as necessary for optimal outcomes
- Participate in the education and training of staff grade Physiotherapists, Technicians, Assistants, and Students
- Deputize for the Team Leader Physiotherapist in their absence
- Participate in a 7-day service rota and emergency on-call respiratory rota
- Complete rotations in Acute Stroke, Admission Avoidance, Respiratory, Medical, Elderly Care, and Orthopaedics
Requirements
- Registered Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Relevant degree in Physiotherapy
- Experience in a variety of clinical settings, particularly acute and chronic conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to participate in a 7-day service and on-call rota
