Locum Medical and Frailty Physiotherapist

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and treatment for patients on medical and frailty wards
• Manage patients with complex respiratory needs
• Support patient rehabilitation and mobility through appropriate physiotherapy interventions
• Manage a caseload of patients within a fast-paced ward-based setting
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based treatments
• Contribute to ward rounds and provide education to patients and staff
• Maintain accurate documentation of all assessments and interventions

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in ED or acute medical settings
• Previous NHS Band 7 experience
• Experience in medical, frailty, and respiratory care
• Strong clinical reasoning and caseload management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
