Locum Inpatient Physiotherapist

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of inpatients to identify physiotherapy needs
• Develop and implement tailored, evidence-based treatment plans
• Promote mobility and enhance functional independence to support recovery
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care
• Educate patients and families regarding rehabilitation strategies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation

Requirements

• Registered Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Relevant degree in Physiotherapy
• Inpatient ward experience, ideally with elderly and dementia care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
