Locum Dentist

Responsibilities

• Conduct examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning across general and emergency dentistry
• Deliver a range of treatments including restorations, extractions, and urgent care
• Manage patient flow and prioritise emergency cases
• Communicate treatment plans clearly and educate patients on oral health
• Work collaboratively with dental assistants, oral health therapists, and support staff
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with Australian standards

Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 2 years’ experience practising in Australia
• Confident working independently across general and emergency dentistry
• Professional indemnity insurance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
