Locum Consultant Microbiologist

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive microbiological care and support the infection control service
• Deliver efficient and cost-effective clinical microbiology, infection prevention, and control services
• Diagnose and treat infectious diseases
• Manage patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Guide teams to deliver high-quality microbiology services

Requirements

• Medical degree and valid medical license
• FRCPath, MRCP or equivalent
• GMC registration or eligibility to join within 6 months
• Proven experience as a Consultant in Microbiology
• Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in Microbiology procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
