Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat conditions affecting elderly patients
- Manage patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Guide teams to deliver high-quality geriatric medicine services
- Support the frailty service and provide comprehensive geriatric care
Requirements
- Medical degree and valid medical license
- MRCP or equivalent
- GMC registration or eligibility to join within 6 months
- GMC specialist registration or eligibility to join within 6 months for substantive roles
- Proven experience as a Geriatric Medicine Consultant
- Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in medical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
