Locum Acute Medicine Registrar

Responsibilities

• Manage acutely ill patients and ensure timely, effective care
• Lead initial assessment and treatment of patients in the Acute Medical Unit (AMU)
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans
• Supervise junior doctors and provide clinical guidance
• Participate in ward rounds and contribute to clinical protocols
• Engage in teaching, training, clinical audits, and research projects

Requirements

• GMC registration
• MRCP qualification
• Started specialist training (ST3+)
• Minimum 6 months NHS experience
