Locksmith

Responsibilities

• Maintain all security locks and door systems to ensure school properties are protected and secure
• Inspect, repair, and replace lock parts, door closer parts, and general hardware including panic devices, hinges, and knobs
• Maintain keying systems and control functions for integrated lock systems
• Operate machinery to manufacture keys and maintain a filing system for all keys and identification codes
• Manage an adequate inventory of replacement parts and service supplies
• Work outside of regular hours, including nights, weekends, and extra-curricular functions, to ensure facility security
• Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment

Requirements

• Experience with keying systems installation and repair
• Valid Texas Driver’s license
• Clear driving record
