Localization Vertical Product Manager

Responsibilities

• Own a local commerce / local services vertical end to end including strategy, roadmap, launch, and growth
• Take new categories from 0→1 by validating demand, defining the MVP, and iterating toward product-market fit
• Drive go-to-market for category launches including supply acquisition, consumer demand, pricing, and marketplace liquidity
• Partner with engineering and data science to embed AI/LLM capabilities into the core consumer and merchant experience
• Use marketplace metrics such as conversion, liquidity, retention, and take rate to prioritize and prove impact

Requirements

• 6+ years in product management with Senior, Lead, Principal, Staff, or Group PM scope
• Demonstrated 0→1 launch of a new local services or local commerce vertical at a consumer marketplace
• Experience with both vertical category depth and local-platform experience
• Hands-on go-to-market ownership for a new category launch
• Fluency with marketplace dynamics including two-sided supply/demand, liquidity, pricing, and unit economics

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at a US consumer marketplace such as Yelp, DoorDash, Thumbtack, Nextdoor, Instacart, Uber, Grubhub, Angi, or Gopuff
• Track record with services-booking or home-services marketplace products
• Experience shipping AI/LLM-powered consumer features
• Chinese local-life-services background (e.g., Meituan, Dianping)
