Local Transportation Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate long-haul truck and trailer equipment for daily bulk product transportation
• Receive, transport, and deliver bulk products while complying with DOT regulations and safety standards
• Perform daily equipment checks to maintain efficient and safe operational use
• Maintain required driver logs, time and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports
• Plan routes according to state and federal laws regarding overweight and over-width loads
• Perform continuous loading and unloading duties throughout the shift

Requirements

• Valid CDL A license
• GED or high school diploma
• Must be 25 years of age or older
• Must meet all DOT required qualifications according to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of bulk driving experience
