Local Ready Mix Driver

Responsibilities

• Drive a concrete mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to various job sites safely
• Perform pre-trip inspections of the vehicle in accordance with DOT regulations
• Charge the mixer with concrete and necessary admixtures at the plant
• Maneuver the truck safely on job sites, including unstable ground conditions
• Set up and operate discharge chutes to meet customer specifications
• Maintain daily call-outs to confirm start times

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A or B license
• High school diploma or equivalent (or equivalent combination of experience and training)
• Ability to pass a Federal DOT drug screen and physical
• Valid driving record that meets Federal and State Motor Carrier regulations
• Ability to lift 50lbs frequently
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively
