Local Ready Mix Driver

Responsibilities

• Drive a concrete mixer truck to deliver concrete mix to various job sites safely
• Ensure concrete arrives with the desired slump according to customer or job specifications
• Fill water tanks before each delivery and manage all necessary valves
• Set up and manage chutes for proper discharge at customer locations
• Perform end-of-shift truck maintenance, including washing the vehicle with hoses and brushes
• Call out daily to confirm scheduled start times

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A or B license
• High school diploma or equivalent (or equivalent combination of experience and training)
• Ability to pass a Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and physical
• Valid driving record that meets Federal and State Motor Carrier regulations
• Ability to lift 50lbs frequently and work in extreme temperatures
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Ability to handle cash and interact diplomatically with customers and staff
