Local OT-Security Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate OT security measures for automation systems within chemical production environments.
• Serve as the central point of contact for local organizations at the Essen site.
• Execute and implement projects in the OT security field and support project and operations engineers.
• Support independent OT security assessments and implement measures during planned migrations or changes.
• Accompany the implementation of OT measures and support functional tests, acceptances, and commissioning.
• Conduct threat and risk analyses and define appropriate countermeasures.
• Develop concepts for OT security measures in production environments.
• Identify and report on the latest developments in cyber security to increase local awareness.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a comparable qualification with high IT affinity.
• Professional experience in OT security or Process Control Technology (PLT) environments.
• Expertise in network and infrastructure technology, including security systems and controls.
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
• Strong communication, cooperation, and teamwork skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn new systems and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of Siemens PCS7 or Emerson DeltaV systems.
