Local Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Confirm daily routes and ensure Local Delivery Drivers are available
• Oversee Pickup Counter Associates and assist customers on-site
• Support Customer Service Team via Slack regarding local delivery and pickup
• Communicate with Local Delivery Drivers during routes
• Manage customer phone inquiries regarding orders
• Schedule new orders into WorkWave
• Ensure vehicle maintenance and proper functioning
• Oversee waves, replenishment, picking, and packing
• Collaborate with General Manager on hiring, training, and performance management

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to push/pull up to 60 pounds
• Ability to stand/walk for 8-10 hours (up to 20,000 steps per day)
• 1–2 years of leadership experience in fulfillment, warehouse, or distribution
• Experience overseeing daily operations and delegating tasks
• Experience training and coaching associates
• Knowledge of WMS, RF scanners, and SOPs
• Understanding of safety practices
• Experience in fleet, transportation, routing, or delivery management
• Familiarity with gig platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cross-functional process improvements
• Familiarity with performance management and feedback sessions
