About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary focal point and local delegate for the Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention program
- Ensure compliance with applicable aviation regulations and internal quality standards
- Lead FOD risk analysis and manage associated action plans using specialized tools
- Conduct FOD Safety Reviews and monitor Safety Performance Indicators
- Follow up on the implementation of corrective and preventive measures following FOD discoveries
- Promote a "Zero FOD culture" through internal communication, FOD walks, and daily SQCDP updates
- Ensure all employees within the assigned perimeter receive proper training on FOD prevention
Requirements
- Technical industrial knowledge and operational experience within a manufacturing or industrial perimeter
- Strong understanding of quality and conformity standards, manufacturing engineering, or production processes
- Knowledge of Aviation Safety principles and human factors
- Proficiency in risk analysis and continuous improvement methods such as PPS or 8D
- Strong analytical and computer skills
- Fluency in both English and French
