About the role

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary focal point and local delegate for the Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention program
  • Ensure compliance with applicable aviation regulations and internal quality standards
  • Lead FOD risk analysis and manage associated action plans using specialized tools
  • Conduct FOD Safety Reviews and monitor Safety Performance Indicators
  • Follow up on the implementation of corrective and preventive measures following FOD discoveries
  • Promote a "Zero FOD culture" through internal communication, FOD walks, and daily SQCDP updates
  • Ensure all employees within the assigned perimeter receive proper training on FOD prevention

Requirements

  • Technical industrial knowledge and operational experience within a manufacturing or industrial perimeter
  • Strong understanding of quality and conformity standards, manufacturing engineering, or production processes
  • Knowledge of Aviation Safety principles and human factors
  • Proficiency in risk analysis and continuous improvement methods such as PPS or 8D
  • Strong analytical and computer skills
  • Fluency in both English and French
