Local Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Deliver industrial gas products to customers, averaging 10-12 stops per day
• Handle freight, accurately count and record quantities of products delivered and picked up
• Complete hazardous material shipping paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Identify and report needs for timely vehicle repairs and maintenance
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with proficiency in English reading and writing
• Valid Class A or B CDL
• 2 years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to obtain a Hazmat endorsement within 60 days of hire
• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
• Clean driving record with no preventable accidents or license suspensions in the past 2 years
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last 10 years
