Local Delivery Driver (CDL B)

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers making an average of 10-12 stops per day
• Handle freight, complete paperwork, and provide excellent customer service
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
• Complete hazardous material shipping orders in accordance with DOT regulations
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Identify needs for timely vehicle repairs and maintenance
• Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Proficiency in reading and writing English
• Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification
• Valid Class B CDL
• Must be 21 years or older
• Current hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire
• Clean driving record with no preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two years
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten years
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds
