Local Delivery Driver - CDL A

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to various customers, including foodservice accounts, and execute all promotions
• Service all scheduled customers by the end of the shift
• Merchandise accounts to local standards by rotating product and building displays
• Manage product stocking on store shelves, in coolers, and in vending equipment
• Set up promotional materials such as pricing signs and banners
• Generate invoices and manage daily settlement of cash and charges
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with store management and receiving personnel
• Unload pallets using electronic pallet jacks or hand trucks and move products to designated backroom areas

Requirements

• 21 years of age or older
• Valid U.S. CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (where applicable)
• Ability to pass a DOT drug test and DOT Physical
• Ability to lift and load cases ranging from 20-45 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to push/pull with 40-150 pounds of force occasionally
• Ability to perform physical tasks including reaching, squatting, and bending

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating trucks requiring a CDL (maneuvering in tight spaces, driving forward/backward)
• Experience adhering to DOT regulations and maintaining required documentation
• Previous experience in merchandising, such as filling shelves and rotating stock
• Experience operating equipment like pallet jacks, lift gates, and hand trucks
• Effective communication skills in English
