Local Delivery Driver - CDL A

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to various customers, including foodservice accounts, and execute all promotions
• Drive delivery vehicles safely and service all scheduled customers by the end of each shift
• Merchandise accounts to local standards by rotating stock and building displays
• Manage product stocking on store shelves, in coolers, and in vending equipment
• Set up promotional materials such as pricing signs and banners
• Generate invoices and manage daily settlement of cash and charges
• Maintain positive working relationships with store management and receiving personnel
• Unload pallets using electronic pallet jacks or hand trucks and organize backroom storage

Requirements

• 21 years of age or older
• Valid U.S. CDL (Non-Excepted Interstate Status preferred)
• Ability to pass a DOT drug test and DOT physical
• Ability to lift and load cases ranging from 20-45 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to push/pull with 40-150 pounds of force occasionally
• Ability to reach, squat, and bend while merchandising products

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating trucks and maneuvering in tight spaces
• Previous experience with product merchandising and shelf rotation
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and documentation
• Experience operating pallet jacks, lift gates, and hand trucks
