Local Delivery Driver (CDL A)

Responsibilities

• Deliver industrial gas products to customers via local routes, averaging 10-12 stops per day
• Manage freight, including accurately counting and recording quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
• Complete hazardous material shipping documentation in accordance with DOT regulations
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Identify and report needs for timely vehicle repairs and maintenance
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers to meet business goals

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with proficiency in English
• Valid Class A or B CDL
• At least 21 years of age
• Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification
• Hazmat endorsement or the ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire
• Clean driving record with no preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past 2 years
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last 10 years
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
• Physical ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds
