Local Credit Risk Officer

Responsibilities

• Act as the local CRO for UBS Securities, Seoul Branch in a part-time (50%) capacity
• Chair and prepare minutes for the local Risk Management Control Committee
• Attend monthly management meetings and provide strategic risk insights
• Oversee and submit all necessary regulatory reporting
• Manage local liquidity risk management guidelines and participate in semi-annual liquidity stress tests
• Oversee monthly credit stress tests
• Handle internal and regulatory inquiries related to Korea Risk

Requirements

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related financial field
• 10+ years of relevant experience in risk management or a regulatory field
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, traded products, and financial accounting concepts
• Fluency in both English and Korean (verbal and written)
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with senior management and business units
