Local Bulk Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate long-haul truck and trailer equipment for daily bulk product transportation
• Perform continuous loading and unloading duties frequently throughout the shift
• Check equipment daily to maintain efficient and safe operational use
• Maintain required driver logs, time and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports
• Plan routes according to state and federal laws regarding overweight and over-width loads
• Operate auxiliary equipment as needed while complying with DOT regulations

Requirements

• Valid CDL A required
• Must be 25 years or older
• Must meet all DOT required driver qualifications according to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• GED or high school diploma required

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of bulk driving experience
