About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage allegations against people working with children in a paid or voluntary capacity
- Act as the primary point of contact for employers and organizations providing expert guidance
- Ensure all actions align with the "Working Together to Safeguard Children" framework
- Work effectively with partner agencies and stakeholders to maintain safeguarding standards
- Assess and manage risks associated with professional conduct and child safety
Requirements
- Social Work England registration
- Recognized Social Work degree
- Extensive recent LADO experience
- Deep post-qualifying experience in children’s safeguarding
- Thorough understanding of underpinning safeguarding legislation
- Proven ability to provide professional scrutiny and challenge across agencies
