Loan Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support Wholesale Lending through day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
• Manage the end-to-end closing of Distressed, Par, and Near Par trades booked by the Trading Desk.
• Prepare, review, and manage critical materials including credit agreements, collateral documents, trade confirmations, and funding memorandums.
• Coordinate with counterparties to verify trade terms, resolve discrepancies, and meet tight settlement deadlines across LSTA and LMA markets.
• Monitor lending operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement procedures to mitigate operational risk.
• Assist in the restructuring process by converting pre-restructured debt into various forms of proceeds.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Loans Closing, specifically with Par, Distressed, or Equity transactions.
• Proven ability to read and interpret highly detailed loan documentation and identify discrepancies.
• Experience with equity and fixed income systems such as Broadridge, BPS, Impact, or Gloss.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Clearpar, and Loan IQ.
• Experience working closely with trading and settlement functions regarding complex fixed income and equity transactions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with loan distribution and reorganization events.
• Strong client service experience and ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to work with minimal guidance and take full ownership of defined tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
