Loan Documentation and Processing Analyst

Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation, review, and validation of loan documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Execute the processing and closing of loans within a complex operations environment.
• Provide day-to-day collateral management, including booking cash transactions, making payments, and performing general ledger entries.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve operational issues related to loan processing and documentation.
• Design and analyze moderately complex loan documentation reports for management and control activities.
• Minimize bank risk by adhering to audit and control policies and monitoring errors to suggest process improvements.
• Interact with internal stakeholders and external customers to explain information and resolve inquiries.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience, preferably in the financial sector with a focus on credit processes or loan documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent university experience.
• Knowledge of loan processes, procedures, and collateral management.
• Proficiency in banking systems and document management platforms.
• Ability to identify, mitigate, and escalate operational and financial risks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in credit operations or loan documentation within a large financial institution.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
