Loadmaster

Responsibilities

• Manage aircraft turnaround operations, including weight and balance, ramp activities, and onboard loading
• Act as the primary liaison for third-party service providers to ensure alignment with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Coordinate with Network Control to ensure on-time aircraft departures and minimize operational costs
• Oversee ramp operations and safety, including aircraft servicing such as external power, potable water, catering, and toilet servicing
• Inspect all cargo and mail for transport suitability, ensuring Dangerous Goods and Live Animals are loaded according to regulations
• Provide signed Notifications to Captain (NOTOC) to flight crew
• Drive freighter-specific performance targets and KPIs, including On-Time Performance (OTP) and Cargo IQ
• Monitor and report Ground Handling Agent (GHA) usage of Ground Service Equipment (GSE) to optimize costs
• Ensure aircraft security on the ground and in the air through appropriate cabin security checks and access control
• Conduct regular Aircraft Turnaround Checks (ATCs) to ensure global GHA compliance with safety and security standards

Requirements

• Secondary school degree or significant equivalent work experience as a Loadmaster
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Loadmaster, Airline Cargo Operations, or Ground Handler Operations
• Experience in a military environment or similar operational role is highly valued
