Loading Shovel Operator

Responsibilities

• Perform material handling operations using mobile plant machinery
• Ensure compliance with site environmental permits and municipal contracts
• Work in accordance with SHEQ policies and report incidents
• Undertake light maintenance and cleaning of equipment
• Assist site supervisor with maintenance reviews, cost control, and health & safety
• Maintain high levels of site housekeeping
• Work in MBT and weighbridge areas as required

Requirements

• Loading shovel experience
• Basic IT experience with Microsoft Office
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Experience delivering continuous improvement in operational environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA systems
